THE HEART
There are three main purposes for Amplify.
Creativity: To encourage and equip young people in the creative arts and help them to discover how to use these skills in their corps and community.
Relationship: To help build positive connections between young people across our territory.
Discipleship: To strengthen and develop young people in their discipleship journeys.
THE WHAT
Across the six days, you’ll spend time learning in your chosen creative fields, exploring your giftings and how you can use these to build the Church as well as positively impact your community.
We’ll also spend time together in small groups each day, as well as free time, meals, camp-wide activities, church services, activities in our café and the Amplify Festival.
AMPLIFY FESTIVAL
This year, the Amplify Festival will be a crossover between Acoustic Night and Festival night — think food trucks, a stage, displays, and more, all in a relaxed, chill format! It’s a chance to express your creativity, give something a go on stage, or showcase your artistic flair through stalls and displays. It’s a celebration of who we are — get ready!
PARTNERSHIP
Amplify is all about community – we are better together!
We have an experienced team of around 40 staff that are there to journey with you – they do an exceptional job of caring, praying, chatting, learning and having fun with us all!
If you have any questions, check out the FAQ!
-
This is called an application form for safety – everyone attending camp needs to ‘apply’ so a corps officer/centre manager can let us know they are happy for you and your young people to attend.
-
You are welcome to come on your own from your local Salvation Army – we also welcome local youth leaders to attend in the sole role of caring for their group of young people.
You will get to indicate if you are a camper or a leader on the application form.
With so many leaders around, it is not a requirement that your corps sends a leader with you BUT each young person at camp will be allocated an adult that is their Ampli-friend or ‘go-to’ person – an adult onsite that will check in with you and pastorally care for you across the week as needed.

If your local leader isn’t attending, we’ll let you know your Ampli-friend in your delegate letter (this will be a Next Gen Team member, a staff member or another youth leader).
There will also be a wellbeing team onsite available to support you, as well as older camper dorm monitors in the accommodation spaces to make sure we’re all doing okay.

We want to have a fun and safe week together!
Please let us know if you are coming to camp with particular needs that we might need to look out for so we can make this the best experience possible for you.
*All camper applications will need to be approved by your local corps/centre before you are fully registered for camp.
